This book was created by the 2024-25 Newspaper/Student Stories Committee class run by
Ms. Hercinovic.
With the help of additional student volunteers, this project came to life as a beautiful collection of stories showcasing the voices and experiences of Utah International students.

2015-16
The gardening class wrote essays for Arbor Day, in conjunction with the donation of fruit trees by Dry Creek Charities. The class voted these two beautiful short pieces as the winning essays, by 11th graders Amin Abdinasir and Lah Doh.
Ninth and tenth graders in Ms. Hercinovic’s English class and Ms. Bunker’s art class produced their own graphic memoirs. We will post more as we get permission from the authors. Here are amazing memoirs from Jean-Dedieu Bonane, Soledad Martinez, and Manjika Mangar.
